Flirty-third date

Brad and I were enjoying a very nice dinner for our third date.   We were laughing and having a great conversation.   All of the sudden our waitress comes over.   The only problem with this is that it's actually not the same waitress we had before.   Another lady had taken over our table.

This is no big deal, except because of this the rest of the night changed.   Brads drink was refilled numerous times while I'm across the table sucking on ice.   She kept laughing at everything he said and conveniently dropped things on the floor every time she left our table.   Brad sees how frustrated I am with this situation and he is eating it up.

Finally we leave and she yells “Bye, come back soon,” followed by a flirty wink.

Afterwords, Brad took me to get my favorite ice cream.   Who walks in shortly after we get there, you guessed it, the flirty waitress.   I couldn't sit there and watch her continue to flirt with Brad, so we left. Brad sees how frustrated I am, laughs coyly and says “Oh come on Tandy, it's no big deal, it's not like I asked for her number or anything.”

Nicknames already?

Oh, and another thing, half way through our date Brad starts calling me by my last name.  I was a little confused by this at first. Then I thought it was cute. This feeling only lasted for awhile. After calling me Tandy all night it started to get very annoying.

I thought maybe this was just a one time thing, but I was wrong. He continues to refer to me as Tandy all the time. I tried to explain to my friends why this frustrates me, they just thought it was funny. So, now not only does Brad refer to me as Tandy but, all of my friends do as well.

What has this guy started??!!

re: Second date...

“Walking up to her, she barley even flinches and says "Hey, what are you stalking me?”

Brad asked me to join him for a second date.  I was a little reluctant, given the way our first date started, but when he called he sounded so excited to take me out again I just had to say yes.

It was really sweet, he made reservations at a nice restaurant in Nob Hill.  So, we set up a time and place to meet.

When Friday came I wanted to make sure that he wasn't late, like last time, so I called him to make sure that we were meeting at 7:00 on Market street.  He was very polite and made sure I knew exactly how to get there.  I could tell he was really trying to make the second date go well.  I got dressed up and headed down town.

When I stepped off the bus I received a call from Brad asking me where I was. I was just down the street so I told him I would be there in a few minutes.  I was heading toward our meeting spot, when I noticed my reflection in one of the store windows.  I quickly stopped to fix my hair, and check my outfit before I met Brad. Just a few seconds later I see Brad walking my way.  He seemed a little upset, so I thought I would try to lighten the mood a bit.  I jokingly said to him "Whoa, are you stalking me?" ...He did not find this as funny as I did. Oops!

First Dates... Terrible

Ok, I usually don't do this but, I just had to.

I went out with this guy, Brad, this weekend and something very ridiculous and what I consider weird and unusual happened.  I don't know, maybe it's just me.
We have been talking for a little while and he seemed so sweet.  So when we made plans for our first date I was really excited. When I asked him where he wanted to meet he quickly said “Oh, how about Market Street Cinema.” Being new to the city I was not familiar with this place, so I agreed.  Now this is the weird part.  I get to Market street cinema, and for those of you that are also unfamiliar with this place, it is a strip club.  WHAT! What kind of girl does this guy think I am? On top of that he is late so I have to stand outside this cinema and wait.  While I'm waiting everyone passing me is staring at me as if I'm advertising for this strip club.  When he finally shows up he starts laughing as if it's the funniest thing that has ever happened.

What's wrong with this guy?

Is it just me or is this just completely ridiculous? Meeting at a strip club is not my idea of an ideal first date.
